Sign Manufacturing in Philadelphia
Your sign is cut, bent, wired, and test-lit in our own shop at 1890 Woodhaven Road. Come watch it being built.
Built In Our Shop, Not Ordered From a Catalog
Your sign is cut, formed, wired, and test-lit at 1890 Woodhaven Road, in Northeast Philadelphia minutes off Roosevelt Boulevard. That address does more work than it looks like. When a face comes back the wrong shade of red or a return needs re-bending, the fix is a walk across the shop floor, not a claim filed with a wholesale plant two states away.
- Aluminum returns, backs, and cabinets formed and welded in-house
- Acrylic and polycarbonate faces cut to the approved drawing
- LED modules laid out and wired for even coverage, no hot spots
- Power supplies sized correctly and placed where a service tech can reach them
- Every illuminated sign test-lit on the bench before it goes on the truck
Quality Control You Can Drive To
Quality control here is a shop visit, not a photo in an email. Call ahead during fabrication and come see your letters on the bench: check the color against the sample, look at the returns before the faces go on, and say something while it is still easy to change.
Building and installing under one roof changes how we fabricate. Our installers tell our fabricators what survives ten winters on a Philadelphia facade and what turns into a service call, and those lessons get built into the next job. Wiring is routed so it can be serviced without dismantling the sign, and every lighted piece is burned in and test-lit before load-out. If a module is going to fail early, we want it failing on our bench, not over your door.
Fabrication starts from drawings by our sign design team and ends with our own crews handling the installation. Printed faces, vinyl, and graphics run through our in-house printing department, so nothing waits on an outside vendor.
What We Fabricate Most
From single storefront letters to full pylon structures, these builds run through the shop week in, week out.
Fabrication Questions
Can I visit the shop while my sign is being built?
Yes. We are at 1890 Woodhaven Road in Northeast Philadelphia, open Monday through Friday 8am to 7pm and Saturday 8am to 2pm. Call ahead and we will have your project out where you can see it.
What materials do you build with?
Aluminum for returns, backs, cabinets, and structure. Acrylic or polycarbonate for faces. LED modules and power supplies for illumination. The exact spec depends on the sign and goes on your drawing before we build.
How long does fabrication take?
It depends on the sign. A set of channel letters moves faster than a forty foot pylon. We give you a build time with the quote, and in most cases the permit takes longer than the fabrication.
Do you test signs before installing them?
Every illuminated sign is wired, powered up, and test-lit on our floor before it leaves. The first time your sign lights up is in our shop, not on your wall.
