Anything above ladder height rides up on one of our trucks, with a VH operator on the controls. That is an ordinary week here, not a special arrangement: cabinets, letter sets, pylon sections, message boards, and the old steel that has to come down before any of it goes up.

Most of this work runs inside our own installation jobs. Working over a Philadelphia sidewalk or taking a lane typically needs a closure permit, and we file that through our surveys and permitting service as part of the job.
What Owning the Crane Changes
The lift date comes off our own calendar. Fabrication finishes, the truck goes on the schedule, and nothing waits on a rental yard freeing up a boom or a sub wrapping up somebody else's job first. There is no rental line and no outside margin buried in the number we quote you, and when the hook is over your building, the operator, the rigging crew, and the sign all belong to the same company.

Jobs like that get planned around rigging, traffic, and power from day one, because the people planning them are the ones doing the lift.
The trucks also work for hire. Sign shops without a crane and contractors who need a pick can book our truck and operator. Call with the site, the height, and the weight, and we will quote it straight.

Yes. Our crane trucks and operators take outside lifts. Call the office with the site address, the height, and what is being lifted, and we will quote the pick.
How high can your cranes reach?
It depends on the truck, the load, and the setup area at your site. Send us the address and the mounting height and we will confirm the right equipment before anything is scheduled.
Do you remove old signs?
Yes. We take down old pylons, cabinets, and letters, make the electrical safe, patch the mounting points where practical, and haul the old sign away if you want it gone.
Does crane work on a Philadelphia street or sidewalk need a permit?
Often, yes. A lift over a sidewalk or a lane closure typically needs a city closure permit, and townships have their own rules. We handle that paperwork as part of the job.
