From Truck to Lit Sign, One Crew
Installation is where a sign project either finishes clean or turns into weeks of callbacks. We treat it as our trade, not an errand for whoever answers a broker's phone. The crew that arrives is on our payroll, briefed in our shop, and carrying the same drawings our fabricators just built from.

Ask who will actually be standing in the bucket over your door on install day. Here it is one company. The trucks say VH, the crane is ours, and the operator is on our payroll.
That shows up on the schedule first. Installs go on our own calendar instead of a rental window, so the lift date moves when your fabrication date moves, not when somebody else's truck frees up. It shows up again the day something needs adjusting, because the number you call owns the crew, the crane, and the sign. Our crane service handles the tall work, from pole signs on Street Road to letters four stories up in Center City.
The install is also coordinated with the paperwork. We do not put steel on your wall until the Philadelphia L&I permit clears, and our surveys and permitting team schedules any required inspections around the lift. Where a sign needs power, the crew makes the final connection, and we coordinate with PECO when a new service or meter is involved. Whether it is a tight corner in Fishtown or a strip center on Aramingo Avenue, the job is planned before the truck rolls.

Installation Questions
Do you subcontract any part of the installation?
No. The crews, trucks, and cranes are ours. The people on site are VH employees working from the same drawings our shop built the sign from.
Do you handle the electrical connection?
Our crew wires the sign and makes the final connection to your existing circuit. When a job needs new service or a meter change, we coordinate with PECO and your electrician so the sign lights on schedule.
What happens to my old sign?
In most cases we take it down, haul it away, and patch the mounting holes as part of the install. Tell us if you want to keep it and we will set it aside.
Will you need to close the sidewalk or a parking lane?
Sometimes, on tight streets and taller lifts. We identify that during the site survey and build it into the schedule and the permit package, so there are no surprises on install day.
