Our shop sits at 1890 Woodhaven Road in the Somerton end of the far Northeast, off Roosevelt Boulevard, with I-95 at the other end of Woodhaven. Every address in the city is a short run, not a regional dispatch.
We Work Every Corner of the City
Philadelphia is where our trucks sleep. Bustleton and Somerton are around the corner from the shop. Mayfair, Frankford, and Port Richmond are a straight shot down the Boulevard or Aramingo Avenue. Fishtown, Northern Liberties, Old City, Center City, and South Philly all fit inside a normal morning route.
Proximity is not just about mileage. It means a dark sign gets fixed without waiting for a crew to pass through the area. And it means the same people who bend and wire your channel letters in our fabrication shop drive twenty minutes and hang them.
L&I Permits and Historic Review, Handled
Most exterior business signs in Philadelphia need more than one permit. The City states that an exterior sign takes a zoning permit, and a building permit as well unless it is painted or applied as vinyl graphics, with an electrical permit added when the sign is illuminated. Historic designation adds a step before L&I signs off, and it is common on the older blocks in Old City and Society Hill. The same City guidance states that a sign on a historic property needs approval from the Historical Commission, and that L&I will refuse the permit application without that approval. We design for that review from the first sketch, which beats redesigning after a rejection.
Built For Tight Blocks
Installing on East Passyunk Avenue or Frankford Avenue is nothing like installing at a suburban strip center. Parked cars, overhead wires, narrow curb lanes, and neighbors who need their sidewalk back by lunch. Because we run our own cranes and our own install crews, we set the schedule, stage the truck once, and give the block back fast.

Islamic Center Monument, East Luzerne Street
A masonry monument with an arched top, set at the street rather than on the building. The main face carries the name. A panel below it lists what is on the site. A monument gets read from a car at driveway speed, so the order of that copy is settled before anything is cut.
A monument is a foundation job as much as a sign job. The footing goes in first, the anchor bolts get set to the drawing, and the sign lands on steel that is already cured. The same build is walked through on our monument signs page.

What Philadelphia Storefronts Order
Corner restaurants in Fishtown and Northern Liberties lean toward projecting blade signs. Retail on Bustleton Avenue and in Mayfair runs on light box cabinets and front-lit letters. Center City offices want dimensional flat signs that clear building standards. Same shop, same crews, all of it.
From the shop, most city addresses are 15 to 30 minutes in normal traffic. The Northeast is often under ten.
